DC Best Buy is a joke

For a new Best Buy, the upper NorthWest Washington DC store is a major disappointment. The two major flaws are:

One: new releases are never out on Tuesdays, CD's and DVD's. I have had to ask more than a few times if they had such and such cd/dvd, they go in the back and put them out only when questioned. I usually give up and just walk across the street and buy or order a disc from CD/Game Exchange.

Two: the CD selection is very sparse when compared to their other stores. There isn't even a 'dance' section, which is a staple in other Best Buys.

DVD anime selection is seriousily lacking.

You can always file a complain with the District Manager and see s/he cares to take action...

Take the Metro to Pentagon City--much better selection there.

going to Pentago City Mall is the perfect excuse to get some Panda Express food (and a 32oz of cheap beer) from the food court there.

Hurray, another Panda Express fan. Yup, the one in Pentagon City Mall is excellent. In Falls Church there's a standalone Panda Express that I go to every week.

As for the DC BB, not a surprise. Is that the one that recently opened? I saw a story on the local news about how proud DC was that they were finally able to convince a retailer to move in.

Yeah the Tenleytown one, I am thinking of writing a letter to the District manager about my impressions of the store. As for Panda Express, I was surprised that the stand alone Bethesda location closed, I loved it since it was the ideal space to buy inexpensive Chinese food before or after the movies at United Artists/Landmark.

Go ahead and rub it in. I moved from the N>VA/DC area 6 years ago. I will say our local BB's are pretty good however.
