Overstock.com rocks!

They shipped my preorder of the lion king in advance so that I received it exactly on street date!

This is a wonderful contrast to amazon. I have always preordered from amazon for the past two years. Amazon always ships preorders a week after street date so that you get the dvd two weeks after street date. Overstock has been a wonderful experience compared to amazon.

So in the future, if I do not have STL or trivia for buying something, I will choose overstock over Amazon.

I agree! My first purchase with them was Alias season 1 and it arrived before street date! They ship fast and it arrives fast, and they've had better prices on some items I wanted over amazon. (still gotta love STL though)

I've always liked Overstock, and the 10 percent off coupon makes me like them even more.

Another for Overstock. I've only placed about five orders with them, but everything has been processed without any problems whatsoever.

I'am a little pissed at Overstock right now. I ordered the Warner Legends Collection from them on 9/18 and was charged for it on that date. Waited patiently for a shipping notice but the release date goes by. I looked around on Friday and found that on the Dvd talk forum that one person ordered it the Thursday before the release and received it the Monday before the release and another person said they ordered the day of the release and got a shipping email the next day. I finally got a shipping notice last Saturday but its not been delivered yet and since it was shipped from either CA or NV it may take along time to get to VA. Plus the last time it was listed on their web site it was like 47.90. About 4.00 less then it was when I ordered it.

I guess it would be fair to say that Overstock has a "varied" reputation...but I agree...I have always had good luck with them.
