Amazon just sent me a damaged item (book with dust jacket ripped to hell) and I registered to return it. How long before they send me the UPS return label for me to print out? I've been waiting about an hour but the page seemed to indicate that it would be sent out very quickly. Any idea?

i sent back something for the first time about 2 weeks ago, and the return label showed up right when i clicked on "return order" or something like that. it was just the next page. you clicked on the button and the next page was the print off you were done.

Be sure to check the replacement box rather than the refund box (assuming you want a replacement copy) or else they will refund your money minus shipping.

Thanks. It just took a while for the return email to pop up but it did. The blackout, of course, put the kaibosh on my getting it out but I will. On a related note, I already got a shipping notice on the replacement. to Amazon!
