? Contact info for Service Merchandise Company (ADS/SERVM) ?

I know this is a bit of a stretch, but here goes...

I am looking for the name & contact information of the credit card company that the now defunct Service Merchandise Company (SMC) used to issue their credit card. I seen that I had an open account with them, from back in 1998. The account has long since been paid, but I cannot find any information on who to contact to have the account closed, as it looks to be an open line of credit.

If anyone has any information on how I could locate the company that handled the issuing of the Service Merchandise credit card, it would be much appreciated!

I tried www.servicemerchandise.com to see what would come up, and I got this site:

http://www.servicemerchandisejewelry...&storecode=SVC

"Remember the Service Merchandise you knew and loved? Well, we're back! Now you can find the same great quality jewelry at those same great prices from America's Leading Jeweler, at ServiceMerchandiseJewelry.com."

I didn't see anything on the site that refers to a card, but perhaps you could call them and see if they might have an answer for you.

Thanks for the help Colleen. I stumbled across that site as well, I sent an email to their customer service department, but it came up as Delivery Status Notification (Delay) through Hotmail. I got the phone numbers, hopefully one of them still works.

In the meantime, if anyone else has any ideas, please let me know.
