DeepDiscountDVD Damaged Disc

What's so great about DDD ?

I ordered The Love Bug SE and when it arrived one disc was a floater and was scratched up.

I called their cs and they told me they have to 1st send my a return label (5-7 business days) then I have to send it back
standard mail (5-12 business days) and then after they receive it they will send out another copy standard mail 5-12 business days).

I was surprised they didn't send me a new copy immediately (expedited shipping).

Should I have asked for a supervisor ?

Now I could be waiting a month for my new copy.

What's so great about that ?

I'm curious. Which company are you comparing DDD to? Who sends out a replacement DVD before getting the damaged DVD back?

I haven't bought many dvd's from online stores in the past few years because the B&M prices have been just as good or lower.

But a few years ago Buy.com immediately sent me out a replacement disc with 2 day shipping and apologized for the problem.

With DDD, the cs never apologized and was like this is out policy tough sh$t.

I called back and got a different cs.

She told me instead of waiting for the damaged disc to be returned and then a new one shipped out, I could order a new copy now and then when I return the damaged they will credit my account.

That's what I've done when I've gotten a damaged disc from DeepDiscountDVD. I thought that was a professional way to handle it, and the credit was put on my card quickly with no further problems.

Don't Go Past 30 Days

DDD will not accept any returns after 30 days!

So open and watch those DVDs you get from them quick!

I know I tried. I explained how much business I had given them in the past and they wouldn't budge!

That is their policy and they make no exceptions (or so they told me).
