How long are items on backorder at DDD?

How long are items on backorder at DDD?
I placed an order for the Soprano's deal last week (all 3 boxed sets), it has been on back order since I ordered it on the 8th. How long are items typicaly on backorder there? For something like the Soprano's I would think they would have them back in stock by now.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I've been wondering about this same thing. I ordered the Alec Guinness Collection last week and it's also been backordered.
I wish the Web site would have told me that when I was ordering the set. I didn't find out until I got an email from them the next day, and no estimate of how long the delay would be was given.

I ordered the Alec Guinness Collection some time ago and got a shipping notice last Monday 9/9 and I still do not have it yet. Hope its not a 3 week delivery but it can happen from DDD and the USPS.

Email them to ask. I ordered "Hulk Still Rules" over a mont ago, finally emailed them a few days ago, and they say they aren't getting any more until OCTOBER 8! Now to cancel and find a place with it in stock...
