CDNOW: no response from customer service?
I was wondering if anyone has any problems contacting CDNOW lately by e-mail or through their website? They sent a wrong DVD to me and they don't reply at all to any digital communication. I used their contact CDNOW option on the website and sent e-mails to manager@cdnow, customercare@cdnow but now response whatsoever. Obviously, I can call but that's the last thing on my mind from The Netherlands.
Any similar experiences?
Thanks!
Mark

Email is truely worthless if you want to get things resolved quickly.
A quick look at DVD Talk's Customer Service list tells me that CDNow's phone number is 1-800-595-6874
The last time I had a problem with a disc on backorder they were very helpful, and were able to find an alternative wherehouse to ship it from, and I received it about 3 days later
Calling is always better than email. That is one thing that I never understood why anyone would email a company when a phone number is available(Unless you live outside the US or if it's a long distance call).

I agree--Just call 'em up! I did yesterday and it worked like a charm. Quick and easy...

I must be lucky because they have always answered my emails. What I like about CDNow is that they actually read your email and solve your problem instead of sending back a canned response. They also usually reply back within a couple of hours after I emailed.
