Staples - 15% Restocking fee!

I just tried to return a printer back to Staples well within the 14 day return time. I was told by the manager that he would need to charge me a 15% restocking fee because I'm returning a product that is not broken or defective.

I told him that this isn't even opened, still fully intact, never used...etc! Needless to say, we chatted for a bit and finally he let go of the surcharge.....

Can you believe that!!!!

I know CompUSA used to charge a restocking fee if the printer was opened because they couldn't resell it with open print cartridges so they'd have to put new ones in the box, etc..
