I ordered the Malata DVD player on Tuesday at about 10:30 am central time, so I know hkflix.com got it first thing they opened due to the time zone differences to Hawaii. I opted to have it overnighted since it was only $15.00 to have this done, and since I am going out of town as of Monday morning and will be gone a full week and didn't want to worry about my package being mailed back because I wasn't home to sign for it.

Wednesday comes, and I am wondering if I will get the package. I get home at 1:30 in the afternoon, and there is nothing on my door saying a delivery was attempted. I check on their site to see if it shipped yet, and I cannot find a place to check order status, so all I can find in the FAQ is that orders are sent out by noon the following day the order was recieved, and that I would get a confirmation email once it was sent. Ok, that's cool.

Thursday is here and still nothing, not even an email. According to the FAQ, that should have mailed out Wednesday at least by noon, and if it was overnighted, it should be here today. At least that's my understanding of overnighting something. Now I am getting concerned. I would think ordering it on a Tuesday and opting to have it overnighted would get it to me over night. Literally. I can understand having to prep the order and mailing it out on Wednesday but I should have gotten an email on Wednesday letting me know it was mailed.

Has anybody used this option from them and how long did you have to wait for your package? Also, I think it sucks that they don't have a place online to check the status of your order yourself. Does anybody know of a toll free number? Or are they good about answering email? Being this close to me going out of town, I fear I am going to be screwed big time in trying to get my package. I know there is Friday yet, but I am not home at all on Friday. At least not til after 6:30 pm, well after they would be by and I won't get my package.
