Just wondering if they ever put out coupons, and if they are a reliable dealer

I have never had a problem with them and I have used them fairly often. The only problems I may have had in the past were out of stock items which sometimes take about two weeks for them to ship out. DDD had coupons when they first started but I have not seen any since.

Every two weeks someone ask if there are any coupons for DDD and every two weeks we tell them "No. What, prices not low enough for ya?" I mean come on, they garantee the lowest price on the Internet, what else do you want? They only issue coupons for screw-ups. They are very reliable and I purchase most of my DVDs from them.

Good, but slow service (this isn't as big an issue if you're in the Midwest), and great prices. No coupons.

I'm with the majority. I have ordered from DDD numerous times and have never had a problem.

If you do decide to order, don't forget to help out the forum and use the DeepDiscountDVD link at the top of the page.

I just got finished with my first problem with DDD out of a dozen orders with them (or more). I ordered the new version of Re-Animatior and received the old version. They told me that everyone had received this version for some reason and that they were checking into it. It took me a month before I finally got it straightened out with them and got the correct DVD. On a positive note, their customer service seemed much better than I expected. Used to I shopped Amazon for the great customer service and paid a tad more but their service has gone down hill while their prices have sky rocketed (IMO). Now I only order from them when I get GCs through their credit card or Vivedence surveys.

The closest thing to DDD coupon savings would be trying to link to it using a certain website (whose name is not mentioned here) that gives you a "kickback" from the referral fees. I am not talking about that website whose name first pops onto most everyone's lips, but yet a different one.... So, it is technically possible to have savings beyond the already low price that DDD offers....

It is a rare thing for me to say, but I will say that I wish DDD would screw up a few orders for me (and possibly get an excuse to give a coupon to me). Unfortunately, DDD has been all too excellent!!!!

I know that site. The one with the WWW, right? And the .com? By Grabthar's Hammer, what a savings!

Wasn't there a coupon about a month ago that tossed in a free T-shirt with your order? This expired, but I wouldn't automatically conclude that they never have coupons. On their order page, I think there is a field that does allow you to input a coupon code.

from memory that "garantee" is subject to a few ifs, buts and maybes..

(although I am willing to accept that it does hold true for US customers who DO get their shipping free, and are willing to taken the time and effort to get DDD to price match lower prices found elsewhere..

Maybe we should have a sticky posted at the top of this forum with the question "DOES DEEP DISCOUNT DVD HAVE COUPONS?" as the thread subject.

I've ordered from them too, and haven't had any problems. My current order, which consisted of Blue Velvet, Real Genius and UHF was all backordered though.

DDD is excellent in my opinion. The one problem I had was when they shipped me X-Files Season 3 in an flimsy cardboard box with no protection. When it arrived it looked like someone stepped on it (which is probably what happened). Anyway I call DDD, and they send me a shipment same day, and said I can keep the crushed one since it is no use sending it back... What was strange, though, was that the replacement was also sent in the similar cardboard box. At least the second time the folks in the USPS media mail sorting room did not play soccer with it...

Another happy customer here. They are a bit slower in shipping but it's free so can't complain. The only other problem I have with them is that they just happen to be in my state and I have to pay tax. Bah!

That's about the only good thing about living in Lousyana, we ain't got Sh-T here so we pay hardly any sales tax on Internet purchases other than BB & CC.

Mud Bugs anyone!

I guess the reason that this keeps coming up is the Promotion box at the checkout. People must think that there IS actually a discount code or two floating around somewhere on the Net. Same problem that is encountered at etronics.com

Just my 2 cents.

Here's another big thumbs up for DDD! It's amazing how much of a moot point slow shipping becomes when you consider it's free. (although most of my orders arrive about 4 days after they ship. Not too shabby.)

I like them as well but you still have to shop around. Most recently I found a title cheaper at Buy.com and they also have free shipping and I've found them to be a bit quicker in delivery. I know DDD will price match but....

It all depends.......if you can find a title cheaper somewhere else just go for it! That's all that matters!

Actually, when I found a title cheaper somewhere else I notified DDD expecting to get an on-line code to type in when I ordered to match. Nope! They lowered the price, so everyone will now get it.
