Anyone in Hawaii Use Amazon's Super Saver Shipping?

Because the method of shipping to Hawaii can range from 3 day-delivery (Priority) to over 2 MONTHS (media mail), I had e-mailed Amazon to ask which form of shipping would be used to Hawaii for the Super Saver Shipping. They sent a very non-specific reply, in brief:

"We frequently upgrade orders which are set to be shipped via "standard domestic" shipping to U.S. Priority Mail or First Class Mail. Please note that we can send the package via Smart Mail, First Class Mail or Media Mail, depending upon the weight of the package."

I'm interested in ordering enough to get the Super Saver Shipping, but only if it comes by Priority or First Class. So I'd like to ask if any of you in Hawaii have any experience with Super Saver Shipping, and if you could tell me which mailing method was used and how long it took.

Thanks very much in advance!

You can bet if you use super saving shipping it will either be UPS or Smart Mail with 90% certainty. Using it all my electronics are UPS and my books and DVD's are Smart Media except just a couple of times hence my 90% estimate.

Thanks for the info!

UPS doesn't sound very convenient for me, as I would have to go pick it up at their office as with Federal Express since I'm usually not home. We can't accept personal mail at work. . .

I'm not in Hawaii, but I'll just give you my experiences.

Amazon, since they have been using the free "super saver" shipping, has always shipped my packages UPS, even when a single is order is split into multiple shipments.

Amazon used to use Priority Mail a couple of years ago.

I've never had Amazon ship anything media class.
