TotalMovie,

Well, it's Friday, the end of the week (Saturday & Sunday don't count) and still no Total Movie magazine in my mailbox. Probably don't have to mention that the "40 movies on DVD" weren't there either, but I guess I already have. And I probably also don't have to mention that Total Movie got my money five months ago and I've yet to receive anything. but I just did.

You've been very responsive in this forum, which is a customer service plus for the Total Movie organization, and I feel badly that you have to bear the brunt of all these negative DVD Forum posts, but COME ON Total Movie magazine! This is a hell of a way to run a business!

I want to receive a product. And I want to receive all the product for which I've already paid. If that means sending me back issues I've missed, and/or extending my subscription, and/or sending me an extra premium to make it up to me, then please do it, in addition to sending the premium offered when you took my money.

I don't think I'm being unreasonable, do you?

sjs (Sara Schrank; Stevens Point, WI)

AndyA - I will try to get you your answer here in the forum on Monday.

SJS - thank you for posting again. Thank you for waiting until the end of the week as I asked. It's frustrating. Some of the magazines get to people 2 days after the mass mailing, some take 4 weeks. I will pop the March/April issue in the mail to you on monday....

Pharo - did you get your issue?

Well why did your customer service say that everything was mailed to me 2 weeks ago? Also, you mentioned that A-L had ALL been mailed out...?!?!? Look I can take delays, but I would like people to be honest with me.

Let me know if you can do ANYTHING. This is ridiculous.

I subscribed on March 21st, name is Nolan Reese. I can still expect to get the player, right? And will i be included in that shipment and if so, does that mean my order has been processed and i will be recieving my 40 DVDs soon?

I got 1 issue of the magazine, probably late Jan, early Feb. and nothing since. The customer service people that I talked to several times(back then) seemed to be helpful and I did get the one issue after 3 months of waiting. I still have not seen the 40 movies or any more issues. I realize it it bi-monthly but I should have recieved another issue by now. Do I need to call Customer service AGAIN? I would have thought once things were up and running with the subscription things would be fine.

Total Movie,

I've been waiting patiently. But now I'm curious if I've fallen through the cracks. I paid in early Dec. and have gotten nothing at all except a email survey asking if I liked SUVs. An email sent a week ago has gone unanswered. Could you see what's up with my account please? Thanks.

Rabbi (Rob) - there are 2 Rob Olivers in the database - michigan and Florida which one are you?

SJS, Pharo - copies will be put in the mail to you today

Boobie (Jordan) - a supplemental mailing is for people who did not make the cut off on the first mailing. That is for the magazines. Correct me if I am reading the database wrong...or if they entered your data slowly...I see you in the database as of 3/19/02 ...is that correct?

Nolan - have you in the database as of 3/25...you should be in the supplemental shipment of the magazine...and the next shipment of the 40 free movie packs.

Olds403 - need your name to do anything

AndyA - I am going to double check the mailing database for the 40 Free movies on DVD tomorrow morning (it is in a different computer than I normally check...so I can not check it now) to make sure you were among those who were sent the packs. If not, I will pop yours in the mail. If so, I will let you know here.

****Everyone - According to Amazon.com, most media mail (which is the way the 40 movies go out) gets to people in 4-14 working days though sometimes, for some reason, media mail can take 4 weeks +. Why, I do not know. The first batch was dropped off Thursday the 28th and probably processed the day after. Some people had theirs by the following Monday. Some do not have theirs yet. Today is the 11th business day.

Rabbi (Rob) - you are in the supplemental mailing scheduled to go out later this week.

Wings of Desire?? As in this Wings of Desire? That's the only one that comes up when I search IMDB. I've had little hope that this title would be released on DVD at all. Looking forward to hearing more about this deal with MGM.

BTW, I've gotten my 40 movie pack and all the issues due to me so far. My experience with customer service went well when I called about receiving an invoice when I had already paid, and she automatically informed me when I should expect the 40 movies and latest issue. And I'd like to commend you, TotalMovie, for the work that you're doing at this message board.

No movies yet

My name is Dawn Ricker. I received the DVD player but have not yet received a magazine or the movies.

I had subscribed before and only received one magazine. I emailed the company about six weeks ago but never received a reply.

I would appreciate being informed as to when I can expect the movies.

Thanks.

Thanks, but I'm confused why I would be on the supplemental mailing if I subscribed 4 months ago. Oh well, I appreciate the response.

Put in a good word to Mayra for me, huh?

I have yet to have a problem reaching someone when calling the toll free number listed somewhere in the pages above. Either I've called and reached someone right away, or called and left a message that they have returned. I wouldn't e-mail.
This still bugs me. I subscribed by the internet, they're using the internet to market thier product, but I can't get help through the internet. Some of us work the hours of thier customer service so it's very hard to find time to call. I don't see why it's so hard to simply answer the emails they are sent. Guess I'll have to try calling after hours and leaving a message.

TotalMovie: Looking for the March/April issue of the mag, or is it coming and I'm getting ahead of myself?

Thanks

No, this is not correct as previously posted TWICE. I signed up back in December.

Thanks,

Boobie - as I have previously stated subs that were before January were processed slowly. After that, the process was brought in house. You should be getting your magazine shortly as the supplemental mailing is later this week.

nrrd - should also include the DVD player though that would probably be subject to the standard waiting period

Scarecrow, Olds, Journeywoman - new issues popped in the mail to you today. Though the database shows you each were sent an issue on 3/22

RKillgore - yes it is that Wings of Desire

Since TotalMovie responds quickly here, I'll join in. I was curious to see about the 40 movie shipment, as I have not received them yet. My name is Mathew Langdon (Appleton, Wisconsin). I see that A-L was shipped out a while back. Given Media Mail, it may be stuck in an income tax log jam, but I thought I would make sure they were sent out.

Thanks.

REFUND PROBLEM

Total Movie,

I have been a big supporter of Total Movie Magazine since the beginning. Up until recently, I have had no problems with you guys. I subscribed in the beginning and got every issue promised. I also received the DVD player rather quickly too (tho I still haven't received the 40 movies but I can wait on that one).

My problem is the DVD Player crapped out on me on March 22nd (I left a post above about it). I called Aaron and told him to take it back and just issue me a refund on the player. He said he would do that and the second they get the player, I would get my refund.

A few days later, Fed Ex picked up the player. I waited a week and checked my Credit Card for the refund.

No refund.

I called and talked to Myra. She said it would take a few more days for the refund and I said "Sure" because I've never had any problems with the company.

A week later, I checked my Credit Card info again....no refund.

I called Total Movie again and this time, talked to Aaron. He checked the computer and said we have the refund ready to go. "Give it a few days".

It has now been 2 weeks since that conversation and there is STILL NO refund on my credit card.

What is taking so long to get this refund? I've had nothing but good things to say about your company and now I find myself ready to call Aaron back and give him a piece of my mind (small as it is).

I decided to try here first because you seem to be able to handle problems better than anyone else in the company so PLEASE help me!

Andrew Rubio

Journeywoman - I answered your posting 3 postings before your latest one.

Valeyard - see what I can do for you tomorrow. refunds are totally out of my hands....but I will see what I can do.

Chew - I will check the database tomorrow for you.
