It's been two days since the street date for Jurassic Park 3 and my order status still remains at "Not Shipped Yet". How many days after the release date does Amazon start shipping preorders?

I have a copy of JP3 on order with Amazon and mine is still not shipped. Typically Amazon will ship my orders anywhere from Friday through Tuesday before release date.

I did have an order from last week that never shipped. I called and talked with an order specialist who said there was a technical problem with the order preventing it from shipping. Anyway they were able to get the order shipped within a few hours after the call, and also gave me free shipping and upgraded it to 2nd day air.

I think you should call if you are concerned with the delays. I still have two current orders myself that should be shipping. I probably will be calling Amazon about them soon.

My JP3 shipped on Sunday and it arrived yesterday along with Rush Hour 2, Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Handmaid's Tale.

My JP3 hasn't shipped as well, so is my Shrek which I preordered. Both are in "Not Shipped Yet". I think I'll start a rampage over the phone...

not shipped for me. MY last order with this company. It is obvious they are having trouble running this company. overcharges right and left , bad customer service and high prices.

It's not just JP3 that hasn't shipped this week. My order for 'Dracula' and 'Gattaca' still has not shipped and their website says that it ships in 5 to 9 days!

I am having a similar problem with my Sahara order. The DVD was released on 12/11 but their website list availablity 8-10 days. I got an order specialist who at least helped me get the availalbe items in my order shipped. I don't know what is going on at Amazon but they are failing in so many different areas of their business operations.

My JP3 has just entered "Shipping Soon". I hope it does ship fast because the promotional offers inside are expiring in a few weeks!

I spoke to a CSR today morning who claimed that Amazon received the JP3 discs only today, which is a blatant lie. They neither gave me free shipping nor a free upgrade, lke they did for LASERMOVIES. It got shipped by media-mail today. With the christmas season in full-swing, the overworked US postal service will probably deliver this to me after christmas. BTW, the csr told me that the expected delivery date is Dec 21st.

When are the promos expiring? I am wondering if I should buy the disc at BestBuy and send away the coupons pronto and return the disc back to Scamazon when I finally receive it via the mail.

I'm guessing that LASERMOVIES was probably referring to a different order that didn't ship last week. JP3 was released this week and I don't think an order specialist would rush to apologize (w/shipping refunded) for not shipping JP3 last week.

You are right about that being a lie because my JP3 shipped on Sunday and I got it on Tuesday.

I received free shipping on another order that was a week overdue. My JP3 order still hasn't shipped but it already had free shipping from Amazon's recent free shipping promotion. Hope that clears this up.

Just because an order specialist or CSR gives one person something doesn't necessarily mean they will do the same for everyone. I never asked for the upgrade or shipping credit from the OS. She was nice enough to give it to me without asking. Also the order was supposed to arrive today and now it has been rescheduled for tomorrow. So I am not even getting my order any faster with the upgraded shipping.

Mine shipped last Friday and arrived on Tuesday. I had pre-ordered it several months ago.

Your lucky they are shipping your copy of JP3. My order is turning into a big mess. I just received an e-mail today from an order specialist I talked with last night that said I don't have sufficient funds to pay for the order. The same order specialist told me last night that my order was fine and should be shipping soon.
