No CHOPPER at Netflix

Anyone have an idea why big, bad Netflix won't be offering the Australian film CHOPPER for rental? They seem to have just about everything else. Well, maybe not everything, but close to it....

If it is available in the US, then I would send customer service an email and ask them.

I don't believe Chopper is even released in the US until 11/13/01, next week.

It has not been released yet, but it would have been listed with Netflix months ago if they were going to carry it. They have things listed now that are not scheduled for release on DVD until next summer.

Well, not entirely true. I can't remember the movie, but there was a recent release I wanted to get from them and it was scheduled to come out within the following couple of weeks about amonth ago. I looked, it wasn't there and assumed they wouldn't have it. But when it came out, it was there. So it could still be listed yet.

As badger1997 said, they don't put everything they are going to have up online. Usually the ones they have on for months in advance are either going to be ones they are getting lots of copies of or they know a lot of people are going to be wanting.

Just because it is not there today does not mean that it won't be next week or the week after that. I wouldn't worry about complaining about what they don't have until a movie is actually released...
