Try leaving the space blank and clicking find order. That always works for me.

I pre ordered Citizen Kane on a multi-DVD order. Got the other items, but CK, released 9/25 is now listed as "back ordered" -

Gee, I told them WAY in advance I wanted one, they presumably had to send in an order for it.... where the hell is it?

Preordered Simpson's Box Set and Star Wars: Episode 1 on August 17th. I was promptly charged for the items ($40.40) but I have yet to receive the Simpson's Box Set.

I got my Simpson's Box set from Rocketcash/Playcentric on the friday after the release date. Ironically, I had emailed them complaining that day, went home and it was waiting for me *blush*.

I ordered Heartbreakers which the web status page states shipped to me on 9/21/01. As of today (10/3/01) yet it hasn't shown up to my address in the La, CA area..

How long had it been taking people from when they say it's shipped till you receive it ?

I ordered the Jack Ryan collection from Playcentric, took a bit longer than expected
but the order came through....
I guess if I wanted it quickly, I could have paid Scamazon a few more dollars.....


I just have this vision of playcentric's home office...

Preordered Simpsons from playcentric August 31. September 24, I received an e-mail stating that my order had shipped September 21. It is now October 4 and I'm still waiting.

I will NOT be ordering from these folks again.

I wonder what they were actually statusing when they told me my order shipped at the end of last month ? I assumed they got it before street date and shipped it out when they got it assuming I'd get it after street date.

Anything is possible with this place!

I had ordered the simpsons box set from playcentric and a few days later it was listed as a "backorder", so I scanned this thread and found the # for a mr. silvester, I called him and told him i would like my money refunded immediately, which he agreed to do. A couple of days later, my bank confirmed that the money was back in the account.

I hate to say this is a bad company, when they're so good at solving the problem, but since there seems to always be a problem, I will not order from them again. I will save the frustration and just go to my local store, at least there i know what i'm getting and who i'm dealing with.

I actually got my Godfather DVD set on October 5th. However, this was from an order placed last week and I used the air shipping. And older order which included another GF set and The Simpsons set is still MIA. SHould've sprang for the extra buck on that one, huh? Oh well, live and learn.

The title of this thread still makes me laugh :lol:

October 6: my Simpsons set arrives in amazingly good condition considering the lousy "protective" mailer it was sent in. It seems playcentric is honest, but incredibly slow.

I certainly won't be ordering from them again--the $5 savings wasn't worth the delay and the duress.

I ordered Heartbreakers on 9/4/01, the web status page states shipped to me on 9/21/01 and I received it 10/6/01. The dvd appears to be in prefect condition. :)

The package was postmarked from Taylor, MI and the return address label shows Toronto, Ontario.

I received my Godfather set from them on Saturday (I'm in West Virginia) and it was sent surface mail. Way to go, Playcentric!

I did receive my Simpsons set from them 3 days after street date (Friday), but 3 days is no big deal to me. Overall, I guess I've been lucky with my 2 orders from them.

Does anyone have a number of someone to contact at Playcentric? I have received 1 email saying the Simpsons is backorder, 1 sayings its not, and another saying it is. I would just like to find out where my dvd is.

I think I saw a number posted on page 1 of this thread.

Mine order did not and I was just notified that it was lost in the mail (even with a tracking #!)

I preordered my Simpsons set at the end of JULY, and it still is on backorder and has not been shipped. As far as I'm concerned, orders should be shipped out according to when they were placed.

Needless to say, I will NEVER do business with this company again! All I want is my Simpsons, is that too much to ask? Aparently.

I ordered Exit Wounds and Dressed to Kill back on September 1st. Dressed to Kill was shipped September 10th and Exit Wounds was shipped September 26th. I have still not received either disc, nor have I received responses to my many emails to both their customer service and this Harmit Kamboe person. If I don't recieve the discs by the end of this week, I'm going to dispute the charges with my credit card company. Any other advice?

I'm still waiting for Simpsons too.
I'm not worried though, if it doesn't come soon, I'll just call my cc and dispute the charges. It's no big deal to do.
