Dependable companies: Directvideo.com and playcentric.com?
I just wanted to know if anyone knew if these companies are reliable because I want to get the Godfather Trilogy on dvd and they have the cheapest prices. So, if you have shopped at
DIRECTVIDEO.COM OR PLAYCENTRIC.COM , please write. Thanks!

Any opinions on Direct Video? They want to charge my friend shipping for each DVD of the Godfather set. I can't even check out their site from work - it's blocked for some reason!

I've placed an order with Directvideo before and they were kind of slow. It took one week for them to process the order and another two weeks for it to get to me. But, they did charge me the correct amount and my dvd arrived in perfect condition.
Just as a personal rule, I don't order from Canadian companies anymore because of the slow shipping times. I'd rather pay a buck or two more and get the dvd faster from a retailer located in the States, but your mileage may vary...
As for playcentric, after reading all of the horror stories in this forum, I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole.
