Somebody posts a pole and asks if you're going to buy something in store or online, why respond saying you're not going to buy it? To be honest, who cares if you're going to buy it or not, just don't read the thread if it doesn't interest you.

Personally, I'll probably pick it up at BB for 17.99 as that's the price for most of the new titles.

Definately an in-store buy . . . won't be much price difference and online retailers aren't always reliable in their deliveries. I'd easily pay $5 more to have it ASAP.

P.S. I have to agree . . . why do TPM / Star Wars bashers even open Star Wars related threads . . . if your not interested in a subject don't get involved in it.

This is one title I don't want to count on the online retailers to be ontime with! It will most likely be cheaper at B&M's anyways!

Neither, never been much of a fan of the series but am thrilled it is coming out because it's the right thing to do, and will encourage player sales as well.

i'll price match this at the military exchange (no tax, less drive)...

i don't buy many DVDs at B&Ms, but i'm really looking forward to this one...even plan to take the day off. eye and ear candy of the highest level. i can't even think of another DVD i looked forward to more...possibly braveheart...

for those who think the movie is crap...i'll bet you have worse flicks in your collection for either sentimental or HT reasons (i know i do). i mean, c'mon, IT'S STAR WARS FOR CRISSAKES!!!! in fact, i'm guessing that if you are THAT annoyed with TPM, you are probably a star wars fan and will surely buy it...you just want to moan a little bit first.

and that's ok, because your good enough, smart enough, and people like you...

Won't be buying this one. I'd be curious to see the results if "neither" was an option.

Online. It's not worth taking an hour out of my day to go shopping.

I'm using the "modified Lucas plan." I'll be buying them in the order I saw them. So I can't buy PM until after I buy Jedi.

It will be interesting to see if this and the Godfathers cause a noticible bump in player sales. I can't see any other movies causing one until ET, Indiana Jones, and/or BTTFs come out.

Right there with you buddy!

Question: Why was there no option for Neither? That is my choice!

No contribution to the Jedi (aka Geo. Lucas) retirement fund by me!

Maybe because the thread title said "Will you buy Star Wars: Episode 1 in stores or online?"

Do people even read this things or click on them blindly?

For one like alot of people have posted. If this is not your kinda movie then don't waste your time on this thread. It's pretty simple, In Stores or On Line. If I was curious how many people weren't going to buy it there would have been that option for that.

You can always start your thread about who ain't gonna buy it.

Here's a very simple answer to a very simple question.

I won't.

Where ever it ends up being less. I've started to group my preorders together and hold shipment so if it goes on sale in the store for less I just cancel and if not I let the delivery show up. I have so many titles now I don't need or want them the minute they're released like I used to.

In Store. Probably around midnight too if some of the retailers do what they did with the VHS release. I also got the 16th off of work already so I can spend the entire day watching everything there is to watch.

I will be buying it at a retail store because it's cheaper, there's no sales tax, and there's no shipping. Plus, it's nice to actually get away from the computer for a few minutes and interact with others.

If I wasn't buying it, you would be damn sure I wouldn't come into the thread and complain about it. Seriously, is there nothing else you can do with your time?

I wouldn't go into U.S. Marshalls or Pretty Woman threads because I have never seen either movie. All you do by posting crap like "I ainst buyin' this here title" is adding more replies to the thread that the original poster never really wanted in.

Wal-Mart's "7am" policy??

I'm wondering if this will be made available at Wal-Mart at midnight like they did with the VHS and other releases until around January. It seems most of the Wal-Marts in my area are taking a "not till 7am" approach when stocking new DVDs. I tried to get Cast Away, Die Hard, and Memento on midnight release day and they wouldn't put them out. Does anyone know why they do this?? I got Gladiator, X-Men, TPM VHS, and others at midnight from them in the past.

Definitely in-store. Best Buy more than likely unless Wal Mart does the week early street date break that they are famous for. :-) I have yet to see the movie. A friend bought me the video tape but I refused to watch it when I heard it would be on DVD.

It looks like after X-Men, my local Best Buy learned it's lesson. They were sold out within 3 hours!

Probably online with a coupon and other discounts. I don't need it right away (for that I go to Best Buy!) and I like to balance out my dvd purchases with online shopping to support internet commerce.

Hey, I work in the internet industry.
