Is this still active? Also, anyone remember how many DVDs you have to trade in to get one?

Thanks

Yeah, it's every Tuesday. I don't think it will be 'inactive' as this is how Warehouse gets their used CDs and DVD's. For DVDs it's a 3 for 1 trade.

Yup, every Tuesday. One thing to remember... $24.99 limit (their sale price, not MSRP) on the DVD that you trade for.

Do they have any restrictions on the trade-ins? Will they accept multiple copies of the same DVD?

It has to be listed in their database. Most of the cheap Madacy or Scimitar type DVD's that are releases of public domain or other small genre films might not be. My experience is if they've heard of the movie or seen it in their store, they'll take one of these titles anyways.

I don't know about the multiple titles thing. If it's 2 copies of a major title, maybe. Otherwise they may not take more than 1 copy of something they're going to have a hard time selling.

One thing to consider - I was told that upon the trade in of 3 DVDs, you will be issued a $25 store credit. Of course, remember:

- this may not apply at all Wherehouses
- their policies may have changed since
last year when i spoke with them over the phone
- the clerk may have been incorrect

If it is true that they issue you a store credit, that would be great. You could buy a $20 DVD and have about $4 left to put towards another purchase. If Wherehouse pricematches with other stores (which I'm not sure if they do), you can obtain even better deals since WH seems to have higher prices than their competitors.

Can you trade a certain number of CDs for DVDs?
