I have to admit that I have been pleasantly surprised with Cityspree so far. I've picked up a bunch of coupons between 75% and 80% off, and for the most part they have been accepted without any problem. I have had three problems: 1 merchant who said they were no longer honoring the coupons, so I walked out without my order; 1 merchant who said the coupon was not good on holidays, although the web page didn't say that; and 1 more merchant who said that they did not honor the coupons any more, so I didn't buy anything. I sent the first and last coupons back to Cityspree, and while it took some time, I just waited and they eventually refunded my purchase price for the rejected coupons.

In the interim, I've used about $400 in coupons for which I paid a total of around $85. Can't complain. Although eventually I suspect the coupons will be pretty worthless, for right now, they're a decent gamble.

It appears that they are now selling all coupons at 75% off as a regular auction price. But I have noticed two things that make this less of a deal: 1) they are now restricting use of the coupons to one per merchant per month; and 2) they are charging $1.50-$2 per coupons for shipping. So, I will probably wait until another "free shipping" promotion before I buy from them again.

I bought a GC to be used at a restaurant in Chicago. Good experience. Still a bit reserved about Cityspree though, since I've heard lots of restaurants not honoring Cityspree GC's ...
