I also posted a reply to my thread about MovieSource, but I also wanted to make a separate post here.

After reading my rant about MovieSource here on this forum (the CSR had told me "tough luck" on a package I never received), the Sr. VP at the MovieSource intervened and immediately corrected the situation.

I received my X-files box set today, next day delivery.

Bravo for making this up to me. I stand corrected. They are not a "scam" site and stand by their orders. (Although their customer service reps need a little course in being helpful.)

So order from MovieSource in confidence, but if you have any problems post them here in order to get them straightened out.

I don't think so. It's good to hear that MovieSource finally came through, but it's also very important to hear about the fuss that Jadzia had to go through in order to get the order corrected. There are a lot of places to get DVDs from, and I'd rather stick with the ones that have consistent no-fuss, no-problem service; even if I get my DVD in the end, I'd rather avoid buying from a place where the customer service is really terrible.

And sure, one person's experience isn't necessarily typical... but if you start hearing more people complaining about a place, then it's likely that there's a genuine problem.
