For what it's worth, I got mine yesterday too. They still owe me another one for something I bought three weeks later but now I am optimistic that will arrive.

Ben732, check you rebate status now!! Remember I sent a few emails to them and I finally got an answer from them. This is what I got from the email:
Thank you for your inquiry regarding your rebate. Our records indicate that a check has not been printed for you, and we apologize for the delay. We will give your rebate priority handling and issue a check immediately; you will receive it within 15 business days. Please be aware that the check is printed on a postcard and will not arrive in an envelope.
Thank you for your participation in this promotion. If you have any
further questions, please contact us at [email protected].
In the website, my rebate status was changed to:
We have received all of your required information and documents. After your information is processed, we will process and mail your rebate reward. Thank you.
I know it will take longer than they promised, but at least it's in progress now.

As stated in my 6/29/01 post, I did get mine, but I had to prod.
Go to the website and see if the info is still there. You probably should have prodded them earlier, as a lot of people got "rejected", but when they complained, they were reinstated.
After this long (over a year), you may be out of luck even if you are "right".

I did prod them, with both a letter and an e-mail. Neither got any reply.
I have no doubt I will never get my money. I also have no doubt that it will be a very long time before I shop at OfficeMax or buy this brand of CD-Rs again.

The company involved with www.rebateshq.com (Parago), is a big crook. I don't use that term loosely, but after a few dealings with them, I am forced to make that conclusion.
The last rebate that I sent in had its rebate status changed three times to state a different reason for refusal. Each of these were made after I contacted them and corrected them on their mistakes.
I have had other problems with this company, but for some reason it never meant much, till now.
I don't really know how companies like this can get away with stealing from people.
I am sorry so many other people have had similar problems.
