It seems they are not loading or loading slowly. Tried on a PC and on a smartphone. Using youtube links when commenting is also wonky. Is it just me?

Fixed. Cleared the cache.

Youtube seems to have changed something in this past week.

The Easy Youtube Video Downloader Firefox extension stopped working about four or five days ago. They just updated it with a fix it this morning.

Wonder if your wonkiness with videos could have been related to that...

I saw something weird where videos were in the wrong post in the wrong post in the music video thread. It was weird but with a refresh, it was fixed... It was noticeable as the video I had posted was one post down.

They have been going after the ad blockers (especially Adblock Plus) hard the last few weeks.

That's been happening in that thread for a while now. Same video twice in a row. Refreshing fixes it.

Just had an odd occurrance myself, where noone's avatar loaded

Hasn't happened today but last two days, randomly, some pages wouldn't refresh correctly. It was the broken HTML version. Then a minute later everything was fine again.

Something has changed somewhere recently and I thought it was only me.

Embedded Youtube videos aren't playing. It doesn't matter what browser I use so it's not an extension or anything. Not sure what it is. It started about 3 weeks ago. Going to Youtube itself works fine.

Also editing a post or doing a reply no longer shows the contents.. I have to go to advanced for it to show. Never had to do that before. Started around the same time.

It's completely greyed out and I cannot edit anything. If I click on "Go Advanced" then I can edit it. This is new from before. I used to not need to do that.

I didn't even know there was a video... Not sure what's up.

Do you have any browser extensions installed (including an ad blocker)? Try disabling those and see if things behave better. If they’re working as expected afterwards, re-enable those extensions one by one and see when they break.

My guess is that there’s some critical JavaScript that’s being prevented from loading. Overzealous security software, ad blocker, etc.

I tried that and it didn't fix anything. I did clear the cache earlier and that didn't do anything but I just now deleted cookies and anything related to DVDTalk and it made me log back in and thing seem better.. for now.

I had to shut off the DuckDuckGo Privacy extension on DVDTalk months ago because I was having similar problems.
