Best TV Show Alternative Title Sequences
What are some fun examples of episodes that changed up the title sequence to fit the theme of a particular episode?
I'll go ahead with my favorite. A recent one.

Fringe would change based on the episode's universe or time period.

I was going to say Treehouse of Horrors, but Simpsons changes the opening all the time. Too much to be considered an exception for an episode or two.

I got a laugh out of the Friends opener that changed the surname of every cast member to "Arquette", not just Courteney Cox.
Then there was that Buffy opening, my memory is blanking a bit, but the plot of the episode had one of the nerds alter the timeline or something, and was also suddenly featured prominently in the opening credit sequence as a result. Perhaps one of the more hardcore Buffy fans here (and I know there are some) can explain it better.

+1 for Fringe and Psych having some fun alternate title sequences.
Also, the opening credits for the episode "Monster Movie" of the show Supernatural.

Season 2 of True Detective sucked, but I liked how they changed what verses of the theme song played as the season went on.

Community had several episode-specific opening credits.
This video claims to show them all (I haven't double-checked). It starts with the original standard opening.

Yeah, that's the one I was thinking of. The opening credits were almost all scenes of Jonathan.

It bothers me to this day that those two episodes were the most fun of the entire show because they finally let themselves have fun.
And we just rewatched the episode of South Park where they go after Scientology and all the end credits names are like John Smith and Jane Smith.
