"Constellation" stars Noomi Rapace as Jo - an astronaut who returns to Earth after a disaster in space - only to discover that key pieces of her life seem to be missing. The action-packed space adventure is an exploration of the dark edges of human psychology, and one woman's desperate quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel and recover all that she has lost.

Created and written by Peter Harness ("Wallander," "The War of the Worlds," "Doctor Who" ), also starring James D'Arcy ("Agent Carter," "Oppenheimer"), Julian Looman ("Emily in Paris," "The Mallorca Files"), William Catlett ("A Thousand and One," "The Devil You Know"), Barbara Sukowa ("Voyager," "Hannah Arendt") and introducing Rosie and Davina Coleman as Alice. Directed by Emmy Award winner Michelle MacLaren ("Shining Girls," "The Morning Show," "Breaking Bad"), Oscar nominee Oliver Hirschbiegel ("Downfall," "The Experiment") and Oscar nominee Joseph Cedar ("Footnote," "Our Boys"). "Constellation" will make its global debut with the first three episodes on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 on Apple TV+, followed by one episode weekly through March 27.



8 episodes. Will be dropping weekly.

Looks interesting, but it seems like a concept that would be better suited for a two hour movie than an eight-hour tv series. I fear bloat.

I saw The preview up on A+ today and I thought is was for a movie.

I dont know Returnal but this show looks like the experiment broke the space time continuum.

Watched the first 2 and like it so far. Rapace is great as always, so is Banks in a role very different from Mike Ehrmantraut.
I have no idea what's going on though ...

Is it the whole story?

I've been getting apathetic towards these sci-fi mystery shows that open up a bunch of fun mysteries and then can't answer them, or get cancelled.

I hope it is a fully contained in no more then 2 seasons.

It's a Metroid-style shooter on the PS5/PC about a woman crash landing on an alien planet and having time reset constantly. It was a cool story with some nifty uses of the whole time conundrum.

This just looks similar but is set on Earth, but I assume there's no time loop.

I binged the first three episodes yesterday because I did not want to miss out at checking out a much buzzed about show and have no regrets. The acting in this show is fantastic.

You're not alone. Starting with episode 3 I started to drift. Acting aside, the story just isn't there for me.

My wife and I caught up on this this week. It’s a weird show. I feel like at this point, the plot is pretty straightforward for those focused on paying attention to it, but if you’re paying that close of attention, it’s also kind of stupid and arbitrary. The performances are good and we’ve invested enough time that we’ll finish it, but it’s not something I’ll be enthusiastically recommending to anyone.

My interest is going down pretty quick for this show, another show where someone says I need answers.

The person with the answers say well no I am not giving them to you! Wait until next episode! Well maybe the next one...

That is all I remember.

I think I will just watch the recap before the last one. I did doze off a couple times during this one it was so action packed.
