Star Trek: Discovery (Paramount +) -- The 5th and Final season
Paramount + released a couple of clips to tease the final season. It's coming next year. So a super long way to go.
Sonequa Martin-Green (Michael Burnham), David Ajala (Cleavland Booker) and Blu Del Barrio (Adira Tal) share a behind-the-scenes sneak peek into Star Trek: Discovery's epic fifth and final season.

This show started off with the complete fuck-up of giving the Klingons a new look and never recovered.

Apparently, Ortegas' wisecrack writer is now working for Burnham a few thousand years later.

Definitely watching it. I have been much more okay with STD since we now have LD, SNW and Picard S3. It was a rough time when all we had was the first season of STD. Plus I actually liked the fourth season a lot more. Much more emphasis on, you know....actually discovery (imagine that), and scientific intrigue and less melodrama and infighting. Turn up the character development to like an 11 and get rid of the whole monster/mystery/stupid psychic kelpian kid of the season trope and it should be a good send off.

Ooh, the creepy shrink is back!
I didn’t finish the clip (wanted to save something for the show) but she’s always had some attitude but it feels like she’s got some of her self confidence back to me.

I ignore the haters. Sometimes I poke a bit of fun at them on facebook. I don't understand hate-watching a show and then posting about how much they hate it. There are shows I hate. I simply don't watch them, and let others who enjoy them have their fun. Who cares if I don't like it?

I stopped after like an Episode in Season 4 and thought Season 3 without Lorca or Pike to balance Burnham it was just not enjoyable. Will likely just leave it there and be happy with Strange New Worlds.

I will still watch, but Disco unfortunately ended up being the lovechild of Voyager and Enterprise. Largely uninspired stories, coupled with weak character development, with all of the supporting cast relegated to cameos.

That clip with Burnham was just really awesome. Say what you want about STD, like it or hate it, but their production values are bar none. As high as SNW's production value is, that clip looked even better. Very exciting. And fun. I just want the final season to be fun. I'm glad we're (hopefully) past the melodrama and infighting.

How can you not love David Cronenberg??? The man is iconic. Just wish he could find a way to get the producers to include some pulsating sphincter imagery into the show.

I like this show, but will someone please tell Sonequa Martin-Green to STOP FUCKING WHISPERING ALL OF HER LINES.
Seriously, she does 70% of her lines in this weird whisper shout and it drives my wife and I crazy.

Will hold reservations until season 5 airs, but if you omit season 2 (which is half a different show given the TOS connection) I’d put this just above Voyager.

It's Star Trek, so I'll watch it. Not expecting much, so I guess there's only one way this season can go!
Just hoping we dont see them continuously stop every 5 minutes to talk about how they feel.

Tilly’s back and the Trill kid?! They were easily the worst part of seasons 3 and 4.
Part of me wonders if they’ll either send them back to their time, or at least give them the “dilemma” of choosing. Any by them, I mean a scene in the bridge where all 6 of them decide for the entire ship.

Maybe the series will end on the Enterprise-D Holodeck.

This is the only Star Trek production I have ever stopped watching.
And I was just randomly watching an ENT rerun last night!
