A look back at the aughts and maybe 2010's too?

I will skip the Bachelor, Jon & Kate, Lohan, Siegfried & Roy, and Charlie Sheen episodes but might watch the rest

The episodes on the Shock Jocks was interesting though the first part mostly focused on the 80's and 90's with the rise of Howard Stern and his feuds with Imus and Mancow and eventually Opie and Anthony.

Never listed to Opie and Anthony but they look and seemed like massive tools.

I caught the Shock Jock episode last night.

I listened to Mancow when I was in high school and that was at the peak of the feud with Stern and him. Chicago was the market Stern could never have success in and I believe Mancow flopped pretty much everywhere when they syndicated his show out.

I listened to O&A on XM the last 4 years of the show because I had a long commute to work and you could tell they hated each other by the end.

It seems Mancow was the lesser of the 3 evils and except for stopping traffic in SF to get a haircut I don't remember him doing a lot of controversial stuff.

Who knew Anthony would be a racist and did not see that coming

Stern I think mellowed out and does a more serious show now?

I watched the episode on Maxim and mens or lad magazines.

I thought they were mostly harmless.

I got a 6 year subscription for $5 at Ebay in the Aughts
