Fauda - Netflix Original

Started watching this last night, first 3 episodes, it flies past.

Here's the breakdown from IMDB - I 100% recommend it. It's very good

Episodes are from 30-40 mins long.

"Fauda" (Arabic for 'Chaos') depicts the two-sided story of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Doron, a commander of undercover Israeli unit operating inside Palestinian territories, and his team, are hunting down Hamas terrorist Abu-Ahmed. On the other side of the fence, the tragic life of Abu-Ahmed and his family, and the reasons for their escalating hatred towards Israel.

Re: Fauda - Netflix Original

I just went through all 4 seasons. This show is fantastic, great characters, action, drama, with some "suspend your disbelief" moments but you won't care because the show is so great at creating tension. I thought S1 was the weakest, but they got rid of the worse character, which makes S2 and S3 fantastic. S4 is a miss early when the action takes place in Belgium, but it gets back on track after that with the action returning to the West Bank, but also venturing in Syria and Lebanon. You'll watch this show on the edge of your seat, but it will also make you ball your eyes out. ****/*****

Right after I finished S4 last night, I went googling "Fauda season 5", and lo and behold, it's happening!

Fauda will return for a fifth season

When the new season will be released, where it will be set, and who will star in it remain unknown.

P.S. Doron and Gabi (captain Ayub) are two of the best characters ever.

^ What's great is that this show seems to be popular everywhere, including Arab countries!

Now that Season 4 debuted January 27 on Netflix in 190 countries, we have more stats showing just how popular it is.

Fauda is the No. 1 Netflix program in Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. It ranks second in Qatar and is among the top 10 most-viewed Netflix shows in Turkey, Morocco and Jordan.

Israel has no diplomatic relations with Lebanon or Qatar.
