LIVING WITH CHUCKY takes an in-depth look at the groundbreaking horror franchise. Featuring interviews with cast and crew, including genre favorites Lin Shaye, Alex Vincent, Jennifer Tilly and creator Don Mancini, the film recounts the dedication and creativity that went into making CHILD’S PLAY and its lasting impact on the horror community.
This will be on VOD and Screambox April 4th.

I watched this documentary last night on Hoopla. It was pretty good. Covered the entire film franchise that Don Mancini was involved with in pretty good detail. And they interviewed pretty much all the key figures in the series. A few directors did not participate. Also, Catherine Hicks, who played the Mom in the original, did not participate. Most importantly they got Brad Dourif. Mancini was more than happy to talk since he pretty much wrote the entire series. They did acknowledge the series kind of went off the rails into silly comedy and they tried to fix that with the last film Cult of Chucky.
Its a good addendum to the entire film series if you’re a fan.
