Look Both Ways (2022) -- S: Lili Reinhart, Luke Wilson, Andrea Savage -- Netflix
Lili Reinhart stars as Natalie, a young woman whose life diverges into two different paths on the night of her college graduation. In one life, she becomes pregnant and must navigate motherhood as a young adult in her hometown and in the other she moves to LA to pursue her career. In both journeys, Natalie experiences life-changing love, pursues her dream career as an artist, and rediscovers herself. LOOK BOTH WAYS also stars Danny Ramirez, David Corenswet, Aisha Dee, Andrea Savage, Luke Wilson, Nia Long and is directed by Wanuri Kahiu.
I gave up on Riverdale a few seasons ago, but like Lili Reinhart. I'll check this out as it has an interesting idea about dual paths in life and the outcomes.

Sounds similar to "Ordinary Joe" on NBC...

So far it is okay, I really like the cast, but I have to agree with a review of the movie that wished there was more weight to the film (and I am not quite sure that is the word I want to use, but for now will run with it). I am about 2/3rds through and still look forward to finishing it up tonight (I have been watching on my bedroom tv before I sleep for the night).
ETA; A second after I hit post, I realized that what I wanted to say was that I agree with the reviewer that there are certain scenes that I wish were given a bit more room to breathe, yeah, that is more or less what I was trying to say.

Better than average... for this type of Netflix film.

The more that I think about it, you are right dex14, when I finished up the movie I was quite satisfied and felt I watched a pretty good drama. I stopped watching Riverdale years ago (maybe I watched a total of 2-3 seasons), but I would not mind seeing Lili Reinhart in more Netflix type original films. The cast in this film was solid, and again, even though I stopped watching the show Aisha Dee was on for the past several years ( I forget the name, it was a Freeform show), I am always happy to see her pop up in a film or show, big fan of hers.
It looks like this is #1 in Movies on Netflix right now, so it is clearly sitting well with Netflix viewers. When I watched it was #3 in movies, so it has picked up in popularity over the past week or so.
It is worth a watch.

I think the movie was just to tame for a drama and not funny enough for a comedy. It lacked debth and heart, it was digestible and not bad, but it's been 3 days and I have forgotten most of it already.

We’ll never know for sure unless we work there, but I assume Netflix isn’t manipulating the top 10 numbers. What I’m sure they do manipulate is the vague categories such as New on Netflix, Trending Now, etc. I only heard about Look Both Ways because it was in one of those widgets and/or the top slot. You do that enough, and plenty of bored people “looking for something to watch” will shrug and click on it, and then it hits the top 10 and feeds itself to more eyeballs. That’s how NF adds movies that are 20 years old, advertises them as “new” (to the service), and gets them ranked.
Anyway, this movie was ok. I only watched one season of Riverdale so didn’t know the lead by name, but I recognized her when I saw her. At one point I thought
