RIP Bo Hopkins

Dropping like flies now. American Graffiti is one of my favorite movies. He was perfect. Heart attack got him. RIP

Bo Hopkins, ‘Wild Bunch’ and ‘American Graffiti’ Actor, Dies at 84

Bo Hopkins, the wily actor with the wild-eyed gaze who came to fame portraying thieves and scoundrels in such films as The Wild Bunch, American Graffiti, Midnight Express and White Lightning, died Saturday. He was 84.

Hopkins died at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys after suffering a heart attack on May 9, his wife of 33 years, Sian, told The Hollywood Reporter.

Re: RIP Bo Hopkins

My first thought when reading the thread title, “Bob Hoskins?! No!!”

Then I realized Bob Hoskins has been dead for like 10 years.

Bastard! I liked him a lot.
I’d watch Nightmare At Noon today, but shout still hasn’t delivered my package. Been almost a month.

RIP Bo. Besides his bigger roles he was great in The Fifth Floor (1978) and Sweet Sixteen (1983).

RIP. Bo Hopkins. Had to also remind myself that Bob Hoskins had passed away in 2014.

That's how I remember him the most. Such a small role (gone in ten minutes) but utterly unforgettable. RIP.

RIP Bo. Always liked the little known What Comes Around from the mid-80s co-starring Bo and Jerry Reed.

Re: RIP Bo Hopkins

I liked him, but I always got him mixed up with Jerry Reed.
