I was thinking "man did Isabella Merced change that much?" but I guess she's the sister? She's barely in the trailer if so for someone who's name is featured that prominently.

I liked the previous two versions and I'm glad that this is coming on streaming. I'll give it a watch.

I enjoyed the Disney versions with Martin and Kimberly Williams, but never saw the original classic version. Sure, I'll watch this one. I feel like Andy Garcia hasn't had a top billing role on a studio film in many years.

Forgot this was coming out until I saw an actually positive review of the film on The AV Club site, and I will be watching soon. I have not seen the original, but I did watch the Steve Martin films, and I think there was another remake after that but my memory is fuzzy on that one. If there was a Father of the Bride post Steve Martin films I know I have seen it.

I only saw the Martin-Williams ones and liked them, and this one was fine. Good cast (didn’t recognize Gloria Estefan until I remembered she was in it), looked good. I don’t really have a problem with the story being remade again considering it’s been so long and it has a different feel to it. I’m just not sure I needed to watch it.
