Frank McRae - R.I.P.

If you don't know the name, you're not alone. But, chances are, you HAVE seen him.

Some of you may know him as Sharkey, while others may know him as Dekker, but you've probably seen him...

Frank McRae passed away on April 29th. Arnold will probably still hear the echoes of that rant for the rest of his life...

(McRae was classic!)

He also played the OTHER security guard at Wally World in National Lampoon’s Vacation.

Re: Frank McRae - R.I.P.

I first saw him as a prison escapee who joins Dillinger's gang in DILLINGER (1973), with Warren Oates in the title role:

Used Cars is one of my favorite 80s comedies, totally underrated. RIP

Small world. I just watched "Norma Rae" again last night. First time in probably over 15 or so years. And Frank was in that. Saw this thread this morning about his passing. Yeah, he was one of those actors you remember seeing a lot. But never knew his name.

Re: Frank McRae - R.I.P.

The name did not ring a bell, but wow...looks like from the Google images that popped up of him that I have seen him in a ton of roles, big and small. It always hurts when an incredible character actor passes away. RIP! We have lost some very memorable folks over the past few years, individuals I am old enough to remember watching on TV and the Cinema when I was much younger.
