So, I’m guessing Maya Rudolph was too busy for this? It seems like it would have been the obvious choice to have her partner with Wiig.
I feel like I’m missing something with that trailer. Like there’s an inside joke between these two actresses that we’re not in on.

That looks so stupid...and yet I embarrassingly admit to chuckling a couple times during that trailer (the name “Starbara” and the room number joke at the end both got a smile from me).
Unfortunately, those characters look so annoying, I’m not sure I can take them for longer than the 1 1/2 minute trailer.

Really goofy, but I laughed out loud several times. It’s “Spring Breakdown” meets “Austin Powers”. Fun film if you have some time to kill. I’d give it maybe a 7/10 rating.

Yeah this was pretty enjoyable, it is super silly and basically a spinster riff on Austin Powers. I laughed that Wiig's version of Dr Evil is basically Cate Blanchett with killer mosquitos (this is covered in the first few minutes)
It's now at 94%, who knows what is actually right.
