Villain Mr Chow back for Hangover 2
(UKPA) – 39 minutes ago
Todd Phillips has revealed villain Mr Chow will return for his sequel to hit comedy The Hangover.
Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha and Ed Helms are all reprising their roles as a group of friends in the follow up to the surprise hit about a disastrous stag party in Las Vegas, and now it has been confirmed Ken Jeong will join them as the hilariously aggressive and violent gangster they encountered in the first movie.
Todd told The Sun: "It takes place in Bangkok and LA, there's going to be some f***ed up surprises - Mr Chow's back too."
The first movie saw the lads wake up in Sin City on the day before Justin Bartha's wedding with no memory of the night before, only to find they'd trashed their hotel room, somehow acquired a baby, a tiger and a naked Mr Chow in the boot of their car, and lost the groom.
Todd has been writing the script to the follow-up and promises it won't just be a sequel but another great comedy.
He joked: "I'm not delusional. I know what I'm up against. I saw Meet The Fockers. But we're aiming high. It's called The Hangover 2, you know."

Well, I'm willing to give it a shot but it's got a lot going against it. The first one was pretty damn funny.

This has a Home Alone 2 feel to it, how are they going to force all of these characters into the same situation again?

The "boot" of their car? WTF? is that another name for trunk?
A sequel was inevitable but I'm not really expecting too much. Having Ken Jeong appear again doesn't make any sense. I can't wait to see them stumble upon Mike Tyson in Bangkok...

^ Perhaps, but I find it hard to believe grown men would be dumb enough to let that kind of thing happen to them again. If they were college aged, maybe, but I know if you get one really bad hangover after 30, that's enough to make you call it quits on extreme drinking.

Bangkok huh? Expect Ladyboys in H2.
I kinda hope Tyson is in this one too. I thought he was pretty funny.

The first was funny the first time I watched it but with every subsequent viewing, it got lame and less funny to the point where it had no redeeming quailities. It seemed that way for me at least.
That being said, I'll give the second one a shot, but only one.

First one was amusing, but not that funny. I'm in the camp that thinks this'll feel forced and come off lame.

well..he could go to the brothels or whatever they call them there. I'm sure he'll get an idea of what he'll see minus the humor in Bangkok.

Come on, Ken Jeong standing totally naked with boots on and screaming "Don't Fuck on Me!!" isn't funny?
