Sixth Sense vs The Ring(2002 Remake)
Which film did you enjoy more? I've seen the 6th Sense before and kind of enjoyed it but I just finished watching The Ring('02 version) for the first time and thought it nothing short of superb! One of the best horror movies of the decade.

It's a tie for me. The Sixth Sense was a dreadful bore as was The Ring.

I always had a soft spot for The Ring, despite it being pretty poorly written (though very nicely shot and atomspheric), never cared for T6S. Then again, I'm one of the few that saw the original Ring first and preferred the remake

I'm not one of those guys who thinks M. Night's career has gone down the shitter, because I think it's always been there. I remember watching T6S in the theater, and halfway through I thought, "Crap, this is going to be one of those cliched stories where it turns out the main character died on page two."
The Ring, on the other hand, was fucking scary.

The Ring, being suitably creepy throughout, has re-watch value for me after having watched it previously. The Sixth Sense, once you know how it ends, like The Others, loses re-watch value, IMHO, because the surprise ending isn't a surprise anymore. 1 vote for The Ring. -kd5-

The Ring is a better movie and was a better moviegoing experience for me. Because just when you thought it was over...is when the actual fun starts.

The Ring is one of, if not the, favorite horror movie. The Sixth Sense was good but lacks replay value (I don't even own it).
Ringu was awfully boring.

The Ring, easily. It marks one of only a handful of times where a remake has seen the merit of the source material, then finds a way to improve upon it in every way. Recently watched it within the past few months, and it holds up exceedingly well in every category it excels in -- atmosphere, visual inventiveness, and performance-wise.

The Ring. Osmet annoys me, but it's also been a while since I last watched 6th Sense.
Still, I think that Ringu is a far better film than either of these.
