If anyone really thought Star Wars (i.e. A new Hope) was going to come out this year...well, I'm at a loss for words. We have a better shot of seeing Star Wars Holiday Special on DVD (legally) in the next year before the BD (legally) of a New Hope.

Are people even really that excited about SW 4-6 on Blu? It seems like every frame of those films is ingrained in our collective consciousness. They'll be the same movies we've seen a billion times already only a little clearer.

I couldn't get through the first 5 minutes of Clone Wars. I hadn't planned to try and catch the cartoon anytime soon either whenever it's broadcast. The OCD completist in me would probably buy a blu-ray set that has the complete first season and the movie.
Or maybe I'd just do iTunes. I sort of like getting TV cartoons on iTunes and don't really mind that i don't own a physical disc of them.

And no more pink lightsabers....and......AHHHHHH!
With SW it always seems the next release is "a new hope" for a problem in the previous release to be fixed.

Whoops! I'd change the date if I could, but I can only go back and edit the message -- not the title.
As for the rest of it, though, that was what people often refer to as the "opportunity of a lifetime". Just trying to bring a little excitement to an otherwise slow newsday.
