Battlestar Galatica Season 4 Premiere, April 4 - He Believeth in Me
He Believeth in Me
Plot synopsis:
This is the first episode of Season 4, the final season and is now available for viewing, free of charge, at www.scifi.com . It will air at 9pm CDT with a rerun at 11pm CDT and on Sunday if I remember right.
Season 4 was scheduled to have 20 episodes but only 14 were scripted / filmed before those darn Canadian’s went on strike. Any word on the final 6 episodes?

I heard they managed to film 11 episodes "pre-strike." TV Guide says production on the final batch of episodes resumed last month.
10 episodes will air 1st and the last 10 will probably air in 2009.

It's not there anymore - it was where they now have the characters in a "The Last Supper" pose.
Maybe you have to go there at noon E.T. / 11am CDT on Fridays? That is, they run it one time only online and it isn't something that you can just go and watch anytime (just a guess on my part).

My expectations are too high. DS9 was my favorite series ever, and since (like Lost) BSG now knows exactly how many episodes they've got, I want it to be perfect. It *will* be perfect, won't it?

They ordered 22 eps for season 4. The first two are Razor, then they were able to film eleven of the regular twenty before the strike, with the last episode able to stand as a finale if needed. They are now working on the last nine.

Way back at the end of season 3 they were talking about splitting S4 into two sets of 10 episodes, with the second set to air in the fall of 2008 or even spring 2009 (which is pretty standard for Sci Fi series). So the strike hasn't affected anything.

I hate it when structure warps storytelling. Seems like no series ever gets made correctly as a structured whole. I was excited that they might get this right.

Glad it's back on friday nights at 10 so I can bring back my tradition of hitting the bars, DVR'ing it, coming back and watching it drunk at about 2am only to wake up the next day, go to watch it, realize i apparently watched it already by remembered nothing of it and watch it again anyway

I thought the Baltar stuff was a bit awkward, but the whole bit with Kara, her headaches everytime the fleet jumped, and so on, were pretty good. Looks like the Cyclon side of stuff picks up next week.

When Baltar walked into the "hideout" all I saw were women. I was like "Baltar gets taken into an all women cult, FRAK." Then I saw a few men in the background.
