I hope there will be more titles added. I need The Prisoner volume 5 and The Avengers '68 volumes 3 & 5 and they don't seem to be part of the sale. I also noticed they've repriced (upwards) the New Avengers season sets in advance.

Pretty good price for The Tommorow People and Danger Mouse, probably won't get anything though.

Horatio Hornblower/Victory At Sea might make a nice pairing. I'd go for it if I didn't already own the Hornblower set (which is terrific btw).

Don't buy 'UPSTAIRS DOWNSTAIRS-COMPLETE SERIES'. It is a bad quality dvd transfer.

Man, I'd really like to replace my existing Hornblowers (6 DVD Set + 2 DVD Set) with the repackaged 8, but I don't really see anything else at the 48.61 price point that I must own, and I don't know how much I'd recover by selling my opened DVDs on eBay. Oh wait, The American Revolution is 48.61.

You can get the set alone for 31 at A&E. I got it there and sold my 4 disc set#1 for 30$, so I think you can recover your cash, and probably profit.

well i know that they jacked up the Century of Warfare set about 7 or 8 bucks for this sale. I wish they would just pricematch the A&E sale instead of this.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the Avengers-Complete Emma Peel MegaSet vs. Avengers Emma Peel Collector's Edition? Run time on the MegaSet is like 2600 or 2400 min. But theres nothing for the Collectors edition. Would the megaset be included on the sale? Description is verbatim for both. I wish there were all the originals available. I remember watching as a kid with my parents, and think it would be a good present. TIA!

Presuming the pictures are correctly matched, the "Complete" set (in a yellow box, displayed at an angle) has 16 disks in normal DVD cases, with all of her episodes.

The "Collector's Edition" (green box) has 17 disks in slim cases. The first 16 discs are apparently the same, and the 17th disc has 216 minutes of bonus features, including some of the earliest surviving (non-Emma) Avengers episodes. This disc is also available separately in some estores (including Amazon). A review of the collector's edition is here.
