Michael, you got a nice anime collection there. The top of the shelves is lined up with anime boxes, but I can't tell what the DVDs on the shelves are though

I agree are those two Gantz boxes I see on your shelf? Buying that series is the only time I've ever felt truly taken advantage of cause I didn't realize it was only two eps per disk at $11.99 each that starts to sting.

anyway I like the setup

Not a very big collection, I know...but I don't make enough money to go out and splurge like I wish I could. Plus, I still live at home, and I have a very small room, so this is the best I could do.

I know, but that's one of my favorite shows and I had to have it. Sorry.

I'd say your collection is pretty well complemented with the respective character figures.

The Barbie/Ken X-Files set is a riot! I had never seen it

Actually no, it's one of those cardboard displays (the top of it) that they put the new releases in at my Suncoast. The guy there was throwing it out so I asked if I could have it.

I've actually had really good luck with that myself. Alot of stores in the area will give you their displays when they're done with them (northeast Indiana) I had all kinds of shit that I was planning on using from the rental stores and movie theaters around here, but then I moved, and I had to store my stuff in a garage for a few weeks and ALL OF IT was damaged in some way by a rediculous storm followed by a few days of rain I need to start my collection over again.

Yep. Always cool to see my work on someone else's shelves. Especially a fellow DVDtalker, this is where it all began.

Freaking sick collections some of you guys have...

As for me, being 17 limits my purchases, especially when it's tough getting a job for the fall/winter. I've got 40-some odd titles, mostly horror and TV shows, because that's what I enjoy watching. Why buy what you wouldn't watch over and over again...

Also, it sucks when your parents question your purchases sometimes. They said once I find another job (had a summer job) I can get a debit card, so then I won't have to bug for their CC. I usually always buy online because I can save money that way.

Michael Corvin,

That custom Seinfeld spine art made my day--absolutely hilarious. Did you make it yourself?

My small collection of DVDs (Collector's Set, Limited Edition, Giftset, Boxsets)

Thumbnail links coincide with how my dvd racks/cabinet looks like (currently there were three racks now in my home)
