One I designed and built myself. It would probably have been cheaper to buy something but I this way I got exactly what I wanted.

Thanks for the compliments. The technique and colors we used had us worried. You see what you want in a book/magazine/etc. but getting that look is a challenge. We did the red/black first then the top, which consists of:

- Primer
- pastel yellow
- bright yellow glaze ragged off

at this point we were frightened. It looked like a McDonalds. But the final coat more than made up for the fear we had.

- Wood stain randomly "slapped" on and then ragged off

We like experimenting though, and this is by far my favorite room we have done. We painted every room in our previous house, and now this one.

Well, I'm still an apartment dweller, so the HT dream won't come to fruition, and I'm stuck with a modified 5 speaker, 300 Watt POS, so, my pride and joy is my DVD library.

17 Titles On Order

Now, for something not so completely different, pictures!

I hope that's sarcasm... or are you really unable to tell the difference between a serval and a dog that looks like a fox?

We did go through this last fall when I posted the pre-painted pics. It is a dog, she is a mix breed but that is all we know. My wife picked her up at the humane society. We're not even sure how old she is, although she is starting to show some grey hair. I'm not an animal person at all, but she is a sweet dog.

Now, pics of the collection:

LoL your disney/Cheers/South Park Covers all look sweet on your rack Micheal, now if you could just get Timmio's ass moving for that Incredibles cover..... it's funny I have noticed that dog has about a 5-foot living radius so did you just put some plastic over him/her while painting?

Cinemaddiction, I feel your pain I too live in an apartment which is why I've never posted pics to one of these threads.....my setup is inferior and I'm really restricted as far as space is concerned. Hopefully here in the next year or so I'll get up the motivation to buy a house. Then I'll spend insane amounts of money on my HT.

2 & 1/2 years ago he had a horse in the Kentucky Derby. After the Derby he hit the restuarant I used to work, Mark's Feed Store. Little mom & pop place. I had stepped off an airplane from my honeymoon an hour before. Someone from work called to tell me he was there so we dropped everything and headed up there. He was there with Kate and a couple of friends. He was very pleasant, we chatted for a moment. Very cool way to end our honeymoon.

it was one of those stuttering fools moments, ya know I could barely remember my name or the fact my new wife was standing next to me. All I remember is that I was wearing an Apollo mission shirt (we wen't to Kennedy Space Center), Speilberg complimented me on it. He asked where I got it and I mentioned the space center and he said he had never been there. I thought that was pretty odd, so odd it is very memorable.

I'll probably paint the ceiling black. As for carpet, it stays as long as we have a dog. No sense wasting money. She stays in the basement, it is pretty much her home down there.

Yeah, an "upgrade" for me would be a *gasp* 400 WATT RECIEVER!

I saw Moby's "crib". I know, my furniture looks miniscule in comparision to those tall walls, all bare. Personally, I dislike it, but I don't want to trash it up, and my OCD says that less is more.
