I downloaded the Turok demo and was kinda disappointed.

1. I had to max out the brightness on my tv to be able to see anything. It's not my tv as I've never had to do that before.

2. I had to hold down the fire button for at least 2 seconds before my rifle actually started to fire.

3. I like the animations when using the knife but the knife only swings in one direction.

4. I couldn't find where to go anywhere. It's just green everywhere.

Overall, I hope the 360 version is a lot better.

Free Radical announced at the 2007 Leipzig Games Convention that there are currently no plans to develop Haze for any platform other than the PlayStation 3.

Sorry about Haze, I had read it was a timed-exclusive,but that was a while ago.

In the current issue, EGM lists FF XIII as a late 2008 release, but take that with a grain of salt, I suppose. Still, by their profile, the exclusive PS3 titles blow the 360 ones out of the water. Halo Wars? Fable 2? No thanks. The biggies are largely multi-platforms, but the PS3 has a huge lead in exclusives. I would imagine things will be a little different if Gears of War 2 shows before the end of the year, but they made that seem unlikely.

Matter of opinion of course. I'm only mildly interested in Little Big Planet and Haze. Couldn't care less about the others. Same with 360. Nothing big there either. Browsing through that EGM nearly every game I was pumped for was a multi-platform game, except for Mario Kart.

Fair enough, I suppose, but everything I've seen points to MGS4 being the very definition of the term "killer ap" and "system seller".

Late 2008 is for the Japan release, and even Shane thinks that's unlikely - see most recent 1UP Yours. Typically, FF games take at least 4-6 months to localise.

While this is true, you have to consider the number of people that bought the system in anticipation for it -- it has been a system seller from the start and that may ultimately soften numbers a bit.

For reference's sake, MGS3 sold about 1.45m copies in the US.

I picked up a 40gb system today. I have nothing to contribute, I just wanted to share that I have a PS3 now.

Well congrats! I've said this a couple times before, but formerly being a Sony hater, I love my PS3!
