I thought that I would mention for those who were interested that Rock Star Supernova released their Lukas-fronted album today. I subscribe to Rhapsody, so I might give it a one-time listen, though I'm not holding out very much hope for it.

They are also scheduled to appear on Jimmy Kimmel tonight.

and that's their full name, it appears... "Rock Star Supernova". that way, they get away from the "Supernova" lawsuits.

not sure if i'll get it. i mean, i did watch all the episodes... but this is no INXS.

I listened to the album on Rhapsody, and it's OK I guess. It's probably better than what I expected, but it's still pretty dull. Not something I would consider buying at all.

I find the songs are hit or miss. There are some that I really like, and some are just awful.

So did we ever find out about any behind the scenes hookups that were rumoured throughout this season?

i recorded their performance on Jimmy Kimmel: Live. And there was no Newstead!

according to their site, he hurt himself (torn rotator cuff and bicep) trying to catch a 90-pound bass head that was falling off one of the amps.

they've recruited former Black Crowe's bassist Johnny Colt to fill in until newstead is healthy again (up to 9 months after surgery and rehab - will "rock star supernova" even still be around then?).

Storm Large was on AGT last night. I remembered the name from one of the Rockstar seasons...turns out it was the Supernova one.

Damn it, I knew I had seen her before!

And on a far better show than AGT no less.

AGT has the advantage of being on the air.

Is it kind of sad to appear or lose on one reality show and then do another one?

That would be similar to losing on the Voice and then doing American Idol.

It happens more than you realize, I'm sure. I know there's certain acts that make the rounds of all the different [Country's Name]'s Got Talent shows around the world.
