I also quit playing, not because of enemy difficulty, although I fully admit that point was probably coming. I was just completely lost and with the shitty map I couldn't figure out what I supposed...

this is right, normal deaths take you back to save point. EMMI deaths take you back to the last EMMI door you entered, though.

The 2-button missile is annoying me now, and 3 button if you want to be able to aim it. i need more time practicing it to get used to it. the boss and EMMI fights are harder than they need to be,...
