I can’t get 4k working on any device other than my Fire 4k stick, even though it stays 4k/hdr on all of them.

The simultaneously/new releases are all in 4k on HBO. And yes, if there's a 4k release elsewhere I skip those.

Surround sound seems to be working on Android TV as well (at least on my Shield).

Haha. I have a beta Hotfix on my 2017 Shield and Peacock won't even run on it. It says my device isn't secure.

Peacock as it is right now is terrible. Unless something radically changes I don't foresee it lasting very long.

No surround sound on my Nvidia Shield either.

So all these shows that were available in surround from other streaming services now aren't.
