Too bad they aren't continuing the latest continuity. I think reimagining Jason Voorhees as an angry weed dealer was a great addition to the series.

It seems like a lot of the things that are associated with the franchise (Jason as the killer, hockey mask, etc) were introduced AFTER the first movie. So it would be possible to do a "sequel" that...
