The only one that bugged me was Evolved (Defeat 100 enemies with Evolved Venom abilities) since you get control of Venom late in the game. I had to grind it after finishing the story.

It's not so much the Triangle button it's the camera angle. Whenever I had that issue it was always solved by positioning the camera behind Spidey.

I think I put 60 into the first game but that may have been with the DLC, so this is definitely shorter.
