I got the Bodega Cat Suit for Miles from MM so every other suit for him is now obsolete. 44% complete, I believe. Excellent story telling. No complaints so far.

Spider-Man 2 is the fastest selling Sony Studios published game ever. 2.5M copies in the first 24 hours.

I loved that suit but I also got a kick out of the Into the Spider-Verse Suit with the Visor Mod (fighting effects) and the Suit Mod (24fps switch). That was trippy.

Wait, that's a thing? I thought things looked different when I used that suit for a few minutes.

Here's the video introducing the suit...

Just about done with this one. Best in the series so far, IMO. I'm going to miss swinging around the city once I'm out of content.

Been playing this a lot (at the expense of Mario Wonder which I’ll get back to). The swinging and gliding is a lot of fun, but so is the story.

100%'d on the hardest starting difficulty. fairly easy game but great story.

there's at least two options for DLC based on the story although one of them might be for the next game, hoping insomniac has a new IP coming sometime soon. really don't want them to be spiderman and ratchet for the end of time.

There next game is Wolverine.

I would love them to tackle a new Guardians Of The Galaxy game. Felt like they would've made a better game than the recent one.

Re: Spider-Man 2 (PS5) - 10/20/23

Finished this one completely over the weekend. It's going to be one of those games that I want to turn on, hoping there's more content for me to do when I know there isn't.

Are we sure there's not going to be any DLC in a few months or so?

I wouldn't expect anything that soon. They kept the door wide open for at least 2 villains but I don't know if that's for DLC or a new game (Wolverine or a 3rd SM).

Re: Spider-Man 2 (PS5) - 10/20/23

Might not be the best place for this question but I'll ask anyway. Regarding Kraven (who I know little/nothing about from the comics), all he talks about is wanting to hunt the hardest prey. But then he comes to NYC with the plan to hunt 3rd rate villains who were all previously defeated. Wouldn't he want to fight like Thanos or Captain America? Hell, or Spiderman, who defeated the chumps Kraven was going after? Has his desire to hunt the toughest prey always been limited by the fact that he's a Spiderman villain rather than the greater MCU with the Avengers?

Re: Spider-Man 2 (PS5) - 10/20/23

I thought the same. He could be hunting Spider-man, who has taken down all these 3rd rate villains, but no, let's go after the 3rd rate villains.

Also, I played the shit out of this over the weekend. Up to 40% complete already. Played through an MJ mission last night as well as a Hailey mission. I love that there is variety in these games and not just spending 40+ hours beating up thugs. I'm also really digging the Peter and Harry relationship.

Spider-Man is on that list of Kraven's at the start I assumed he was starting with the third string guys and working his way up.

Re: Spider-Man 2 (PS5) - 10/20/23

I finished the main story and I'm now cleaning up the rest of the side quests and trophies. I enjoyed this game much more than the first one, which I enjoyed immensely. Thankfully there was no pigeon quests but the Unidentified Object quests were quite annoying.

I know that we will going to get the New Game + level but I hope we get a DLC(s) or another game like Miles Morales fairly soon.

I'll start Miles Morales as soon as I get 100% in this game.

Re: Spider-Man 2 (PS5) - 10/20/23

I suck at button combos, so I’m getting killed by common street criminals at standard difficulty as I re-learn the combat. Meanwhile I’m focusing on grabbing the collectibles so I can acquire skill points to unlock… more button combos.

It's ok. You become super OP once you level up. To the point where you can take out full mobs with gadgets only, never throwing a punch.

Yeah plus the gadgets and special moves will refresh fast by that point if you keep upgrading.

Re: Spider-Man 2 (PS5) - 10/20/23

I feel like I barely started, but somehow I’m 20% done.

The big gang battles are still tough for me, but I can usually finish them in a few tries. Oddly I’m digging the tech collectibles that force you to follow the beeping. Usually I’m too lazy for that kind of thing.

I just learned the stealth takedowns and took out my first hideout, so things are trending up.

The game isn't super long. PSN is showing my save at 24 hours for platinum.

Are there any missable trophies? I want to do some wrap up later.

Nothing can be missed that I'm aware of.
