Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

If anyone has a few spare coupons that I could have, it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: B&N 50% Criterion blu-ray sale November 5 through December 2

I may be jumping the gun and getting overly paranoid, but has your Rossellini/Bergman set shipped? I got in on this same deal yesterday and received an order confirmation email and the "Your item is...

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Is Woody Allen's Everything You Always Wanted to Know... easy to find? I looked through virtually every DVD at two local stores and have yet to find it.

I would gladly make some kind of trade for...

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

So all there is to this coupon is a text from BN Buzz with the promo code saying that you can take $5 off a $15 in-store purchase and that it must be used within 7 days?

It seems as though they...

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Oh well, it would have been nice to use the 30% coupon I got this morning, but I have absolutely no reason to complain. I made four orders (getting four free Criterions) during the time when the B2G1...

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

EDIT: ***...the coupon did not work.

Why don't I have permission to edit my own posts?

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Nope, not a pre-order. I tried several titles: The Music Room, Closely Watched Trains, Letter Never Sent, etc. and the coupon worked. I then tried some random title (The General blu-ray, I believe),...

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I was successful using one of the mystery coupons on a Criterion less than 30minutes ago. This problem is something that just started.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Now I wonder if one of these mystery coupons would apply to a Criterion purchase in store.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I am having the same problem. It seems that this coupon is no longer valid with Criterions. I tried it with a non-Criterion title and it applied. Strange.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Over at blu-ray.com the general consensus is that the Criterion sale is a definite go with a start date of July 10.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Odd. I'm not sure if the 50% Art House sale is promising or bad news in regard to a full on Criterion sale. It would seem strange to reduce the price of Art House only, but stranger things have...

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Soooooo...is it correct to say that there is still no definitive word as to whether or not the 50% off Criterion sale is on?

A quick perusing of last year's threads regarding this sale shows that...

Re: Deep Discount 25% off sale: 5/31 - 6/24

Redeemed. Thanks a lot! I've been waiting to get these three as I've been working on watching all of the films in Ebert's "Great Movies" section.

Late Spring - Blu: 25% off = 18.87 10% off =...

Re: Take Shelter (2011): Michael Shannon, Dir: Jeff Nichols

I agree that it was a great movie. However, it seems strange to me how divided opinions are regarding the ending. I'm not saying I am correct, because there is no truly correct answer, but here is my...

Re: Celebrity (Woody Allen) Pre-Order @ B&N for $4.23

Yeah, I'm definitely going to watch Anything Else soon. I've never been so excited to see a film that has been so widely panned!

Something kind of interesting: I have a friend who just recently...

re: Amazon Blu-ray Discounts and Deals Thread #27

It's a shame that Amazon wasn't able to price match Target on the Tree of Life on blu-ray for $14.99.

Re: Celebrity (Woody Allen) Pre-Order @ B&N for $4.23

As I mentioned before, Woody Allen is one of my favorite writer/directors and has been for quite some. With that in mind, I would like to see/own all of his films and judge each one for myself. Sure,...

Re: Celebrity (Woody Allen) Pre-Order @ B&N for $4.23

Re: Celebrity (Woody Allen) Pre-Order @ B&N for $4.23

I was a bit hyberbolic. However, I can't justify paying even as little as $10.00 for a new or like new copy of a film that I'm fairly certain won't be very good.

Woody Allen is among my favorite...

Celebrity (Woody Allen) Pre-Order @ B&N for $4.23

I just recently decided to bite the bullet and complete my Woody Allen collection by buying his lesser works.

I know, I know...Celebrity is definitely supposed to be among Woody's worst films, but...

True. I doubt they are even sold without some sort of connectivity. I should be clearer and just say that he won't be using it for any online services such as Netflix.
