I have the ‘79 Columbia version as well And it’s in great condition.

I’m finding that many of the original releases were the best.

Why did you get so many versions of it?

Don’t get me started…

I recently acquired a HP-45 that I used the DeoxIT on and it works great now. I’ve been bringing old calculators and watches back to life lately and I guess it goes along...

I just used some DeoxIT liquid on the contacts of an early '70s calculator I took apart and restored. It worked great!

Don’t spend a lot of time trying to find a modern receiver with a phono input. Get your Pioneer fixed or get a new receiver and an outboard phono preamp.

Thanks for the explanation. My primary interest is in the very best quality I can get from a record so I wouldn't be interested in the picture ones.

I've recently collected about 7 or 8 versions...

I'm curious as to how that is created. Is black vinyl pressed and the picture overlaid? I would worry about what the overlay does to the sound. Or is the picture vinyl created first and then...

That’s an interesting one. MoFi has a 45 RPM version that went through an original analog tape->digital->vinyl process. I’ve never tried one of their 45s but I’m interested.

Have you played it yet?

Agreed. I’ve been looking at the album titled “Fleetwood Mac” that I somehow don’t have but it wasn’t suitable for this category.
