I just realized there's more diversity on the male list. Men are mainly Rock but have some Pop, Disco, Hip Hop and R&B thrown in. Women are Pop with a dash of R&B and watered down country

I think more is expected of them when it comes to musicianship too. Just compare the highest male sellers to the highest female sellers.

Elvis is somwhere near the top but his numbers...

They're following the comics. I was intially apprehensive when Kirkman started doing the world building in the comics but I actually think it was done well in that medium. It revitalized the comics...
